One of the visual studies lessons was to draw from a real pigs head. The head was done in oil pastels with a black acrylic background. I did this as I thought it would bring out the radiant colours from the oil pastels. Although quite a flat piece I think this artwork shows a build up of colours and tones that still resembles the pigs head.
